AN intrinsical evaluation

A relative evaluation
Benchmarking is always a powerful incentive to act.

Experts’comments which explain and detail the rating in an extensive report (the « deliverable »)
Our Methodology
Completeness of criteria
- The overall risk analysis must consider the safety and security of installations in their context: design, history (construction, maintenance), governance, local regulatory environment, daily operating conditions
- The difficulty of accessing data, limited to open sources, is in itself an indicator of transparency in each local context
- The substantial number of indicators makes it possible to treat each of the aspects necessary for a global analysis
Expertise and traceability
- In addition to the added value brought by the experience of the founders, Notitia works with a high-level committee of experts
- Expert judgments are rooted in the most recognized, recent and in-depth academic work
- Sources used for the development of indicators, standardization functions, and data sourcing ("facts") are traceable and documented in the final reports
Modularity
- Depending on the interest of the actors (partners, customers, ...), the weighting of individual indicators or per coherent subsets is fully configurable
- An extraction of certain subsets of indicators and the corresponding calculated score allowing an in-depth analysis of one aspect (country, safety authority, impact of site selection, etc.)can be carried out
- The level of detail in the final (deliverable) reports is fully configurable and includes benchmarks
Continuous improvement
- Each indicator is commented, documented and traceable
- Regular and systematic review of methodology and indicators is foreseen
- Incidents and accidents will be systematically analyzed and confronted with indicators
- The "score system" will be enriched, particularly in the field of security, if access to certain confidential information is possible: the actors concerned should have an interest in eventually sharing certain data of this type within the framework of agreements
